iPad Air is in air with eager
technology aficionados lined at Apple stores, all around the world to get the
latest Apple product ‘iPad Air tablet’. This awaited product is launched in
around 42 countries including US where it was released on Friday. This is the
latest tablet in the heated tablet market and we all know that Apple is quite
trusted. One can also check for videos
online from Amsterdam, Sydney, etc featuring patrons lined up in front of Apple
stores. It is estimated that fans may
have trouble obtaining iPad Air due to high demand sensed in the market.
The release of iPad Air is
today and the price was initially set to $500. However, Walmart decided to
reduce the price by $20. Apple along
with Best Buy will match the price according to the latter offer for 16 GB iPad
Air and set to as low as $480 at launch, that is on 2nd November 2013. These offers are valid
in-stores and not online as they feature full $500. Only a few sites have the
tablet at discounted rate such as Staples.com. RadioShack will be offering the
tablet at $500, without participating in the price-cut; however, they will
entice the customer with a trade program of $300 against old iPad and iPad mini.
There are people lined up at
Apple stores in London, Tokyo, New York and other places. However, it was
noticed that the queue is not too dense. At some places only a dozen of
desirers were seen waiting before the stores were opened and most of them were
there for pre-orders. However, the response for the device is not as low as it
was expected to be. The sale is expected to boost by the weekend as the
retailers have started offering discounts and trade-off offers.

The phone has iOS 7 with all
the latest designs and feature. It includes AirDrop, AirPlay, AirPrint,
Spotlight Search, iTunes Radio, Passbook , Multitasking support, integrated
Twitter, Control Centre and many more. There are various built-in applications
ranging from Safari to iTunes Trailers.
The Apple IPad Air box houses
the tablet, lightning to USB cable and USB power adapter. The good thing about
iPad air is that it delivers more in terms of performance and battery life. It
is amazingly thin and light as compared to other products. The FaceTiming is
enhanced as the front facing camera is said to be upgraded.
The drawback about this tablet
is that it does not feature Touch ID fingerprint scanner which was earlier
available in iPhone 5S. Fans find the pricing a bit costlier, especially in
this competitive market where there are many fascinating tablets at lower cost.
This is perhaps the reason why the response for this
awaited device was dim; however, the company has confidence the by the end of
the week the sales of Apple iPad will increase.
As of now it is claimed to be the best full-size tablet available for
customers in the market from today (2 November 2013).
